This is because people have always considered the way of heaven to be unwieldy to live today, and they are standing on the distorted path of faith in the compromise of the world, where they forsake God and choose their own arbitrary choices for themselves.   When a person is blinded by covetousness, his sense of psychological faith, spiritual judgment, and discernment of faith is dulled as to what is right and right on the path of faith.
